Reflection

People say that reflection is always a good way to think about things that you've done or did not do. The objective is to evaluate all actions and to seek change for the best. On the contrary, reflection turns awry when all you think about are losses, misses and shortcomings of an ideal measure. Doesn't it defeat its' own purpose of evaluating and reflecting when all seems to be downward?

Somehow, it's been a semester of change when the end of college days draw near. Things that used to be important seem to be not crucial anymore. Priorities has taken a shift from plain situtations to the more fundamental things to facilitate the strife of completing the race that should have been since enrolment. It seems like a situation of hanging on the edge of a cliff with the top of the mountain in sight, just a few more metres away. The climb is going to be tough as the terrain becomes steeper and more dangerous. Slippery ice particles and the lack of oxygen are all but obstacles that make the goal seem faint to reality.

Will there be a legacy left behind? Will there be an impact or just a faint memory that fades away? All I hope is that those who come behind me would find me faithful...

relfection brings healing and opening an avenue for a refreshing moment to the soul sometimes. Perhaps, only through reflection, a pause for the moment is sufficient to take you to confront another phase of life giving a longer lasting impact on what you have done, are doing, and going to do. Bless and be blessed!
